Radio - W2USA

The Fort Lewis Amateur Radio Club is US Army
sponsored by DPCA and located on North Gate Road on North
Fort Lewis, Washington. It is used by active duty and
retired military, DoD civilians and other bona fide Hams.
W2USA Meets every Thursday at 7:00PM at the FLARA Club
House. The 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month are VE
testing, the business meeting is the 3rd Thursday. All
other Thursdays are for projects, special meetings,
classes, etc. Come on out and meet the membership.

Boeing (BEARS)

The Boeing Employees Amateur Radio Society is one of the
largest clubs of its kind in the Pacific Northwest. The BEARS
"HAM" shack is located on the north end of the
18-235 building in Kent. The Club operates repeaters on
the 144, 220, and 440 megahertz amateur band. They also
offer training classes in Amateur Radio theory and Morse
Code. General membership meetings are held on the first
Saturday of the month from 9:00 to 11:30 am at the 18-235
building in Kent. Saturdays that fall during a holiday
are excluded.

The Federal Way Amateur Radio Club (KD7DPL) promotes
radio activities that advance general interest of Amateur
Radio in the community. The club provides communications
between Federal Way neighborhoods and emergency response
organizations, and provides communications for public
service events. The meeting is located at: Sunrise United
Methodist Church, 150 So. 356th St.
